Mark Rose

Mark is currently the Studio Manager of Deep Recording Studios & Founder of the Deep Recording Trust. He is also one of the main Recording/Mix Engineers at deep working alongside head Engineer, Andy Paterson. Over the last 26 years Mark has either been employed or freelanced as a Recording Engineer, Programmer, Live Engineer, Re-mixer, Mastering Engineer and consultant.

Additionally Mark has a wider range of acoustic and studio design, maintenance, installation, business and Artist development skills. Mark is also a proactive MPG director.

In association with City and Guilds and Nick Trussler from Deep Blue Sound, Mark has recently co-authored the newly updated and long awaited replacement suite of 7503 City & Guilds qualifications for Sound Engineering and Music Technology examinations. These new exciting certificates and diplomas are pitched as entry level qualifications with many key and migrating employable sector skills.

Mark has repeatedly raised solid support and funding for young people to train within the Deep Recording Trust, for which he is a founder, which is an industry focussed and managed non-profit training FE provider based at the West London facilities. Mark recently accepted the invitation to join the National Advisory Committee for City and Guilds media qualifications along with James co-member Nick Trussler.
