October 2022 - Rita's full statement upon becoming JAMES Co-Chair.
"It is with great pleasure that I take on the Co-Chair role for JAMES. I am delighted and honoured to be working alongside Gary Bromham and would like to thank our previous Co-chairs, Phil Harding and Dennis Weinreich for their guidance and ongoing support during this transition period.

As a songwriter, performer and vocal coach I know all too well the struggles and frustrations encountered within this ever-changing industry and how nurturing young talent, educating the importance of how to manage your own career and business, knowing how to use social media for career management and future engagement instead of opinion would be a huge benefit to Students' health and wellbeing alongside pastoral care - mental health and health protection is key for survival. At JAMES we are fully aware of these issues and offer full support."
