JAMES is a Not-For Profit Organisation (NPO) 'Private company limited by guarantee with no share capital'. All income is used in funding and running accreditation and education support activities. "The income and property of the Company shall be applied solely towards the promotion of JAMES objects and no portion shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of profit to Members, [or Directors], of the Company", as laid down by the Memorandum of Association of JAMES - Joint Audio Media Education Services Ltd - Item 4.
